How do I send an email to the class?

  1. Click Email on the Course Menu.
  2. Click one of the options listed on the page. For example, All Users or All Student Users.
  3. Type the Subject.
  4. Type the Message.
  5. If adding an attachment, click Attach a file. Select Browse. Select the desired document and click Open.
  6. Click Submit.
Note: You cannot send email to anyone who is not a member of the Blackboard course.

How do I send an email to an individual?

  1. Click Email on the Course Menu.
  2. Click Select Users.
  3. Select the individual from the Items to Select list.
  4. Click the > arrow button to move name to list of Selected Items.
  5. Type the Subject.
  6. Type the Message.
  7. If adding an attachment, click Attach a file. Select Browse. Select the desired document and click Open.
  8. Click Submit.
Note: You can send an email only to class members of the course.

How do I send a message?

  1. Click Messages on the Course Menu.
  2. Click Create Message.
  3. Click the To button.
  4. Select the individual from the Items to Select list.
  5. Click the > arrow button to move name to list of Selected Items.
  6. If you want to send a copy or blind copy of the message click the Cc or Bcc button and select names.
  7. Type the Subject.
  8. Type the Message.
  9. Click Submit.
